Perth: Australia on Wednesday thrashed India by 83 runs in the third and the final ODI match at the Western Australian Cricket Association Ground in Perth to complete a 3-0 series whitewash.
With the virtue of this win, the hosts achieved important ICC Women’s Championship points and reaffirming their supremacy in the format.

For India, Smriti Mandhana played a swashbuckling innings of 105 runs while Harleen Deol scored 39 runs.
Gardner takes fifer
For the hosts, Ash Gardner took 5 wickets after conceding 30 runs in 10 overs.

India wins toss
Earlier in the day, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Riding on batter Annabel Sutherland's scintillating 95-ball 110, and brilliant half centuries from Ashleigh Gardner (50) and skipper Tahlia McGrath (56 not out), the host posted a 298/6 runs in 50 overs.
India scores 215 in 45.1 overs
In reply, Harmanpreet Kaur-led Team was bowled out for 215 in 45.1 overs.
The left-hander Mandhana anchored the Indian innings beautifully during her 105 off 109 balls and as long as the she was at the crease, the visitors were in with a chance.

Harmanpreet Kaur's side started the series with a five-wicket defeat against the Aussies in the opening match of the series. The Women in Blue tried hard to make a comeback and level the series in the second match, however, India conceded a 122-run loss to the hosts.
