Auston Trusty hasn't been at Celtic for an inordinate amount of time, but his latest interview proves he's always well settled in the mindset of the club.
In an exclusive conversation with Celtic TV, the American centre-back described himself as the "new kid" since joining the club last summer, while having been thoroughly impressed with the squad as a whole since.
Now faced with a hectic schedule – where games come just about every three days for the next stretch – the 26-year-old said going again and again is as much a mindset issue as it is a physical one.
He said: "You can't take any team for granted and get to go in the right mindset. I think the Celtic way is to focus on ourselves and come out in our way.
"If we do our job and everyone shows up and does their jobs, it's a hard game for anybody in the world. We just have to focus on ourselves.
"A lot of it is looking back on the games and recovering and getting to the new game. It's just a mindset.
"It's not easy playing games every three days. Your body allows you to do it. When you're with a group of guys who are all willing to do the same thing, grind and get results for the team and for each other, the three days pass like this and game after game after game."

Trusty added: "Again, it's a credit to my teammates and also to coaching staff to keep everyone so locked in and fighting for a reason. It takes a lot of effort for all of us to be on the same page day after day and game after game. It's pretty incredible."
Trusty was then asked about Celtic's two remaining Champions League league-phase matches later this month – against BSC Young Boys at home and Aston Villa away – to which he stressed he and his peers have not, and cannot, think that far ahead.
He added: "We want to advance [in the Champions League] and go about it in the right mindset, but we can't allow ourselves to focus on those games.
"We have to go day by day and game by game here because if we don't take care of business here, we won't be in the rhythm for those games. We've got to focus on the day-to-day here."
