Every time Anthony Davis has a bad or subpar game, people pile on the criticism and accuse him of being lazy, soft and unmotivated. Some even plead for the Los Angeles Lakers to trade him and insist they would be better off without him.
Just about every time that happens, Davis bounces back with a great, if not a dominant, performance in his next game.
On Wednesday, he scored 10 points and went scoreless in the second half of a loss to the Dallas Mavericks. He returned to form on Saturday with 32 points on 13-of-20 shooting, 13 rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals in a 121-115 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Guard Austin Reaves reminded everyone of just how great a player Davis is (h/t Lakers Daily).
Austin Reaves on Anthony Davis going from 10 pts in a L vs. DAL to 32 pts in a W vs. CLE: "Everybody's quick to murder AD when he has an off night. … He's affecting the game more than what the average human is picking up on"

Davis and his team will be seriously tested on Monday with a contest against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers (11-5). Embiid is the NBA’s reigning regular-season MVP, and he’s averaging 32.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists a game this season.
