The Carolina Panthers offensive line just had its best performance of what’s been a rock-solid 2022 campaign. And, uh, it seems as though someone in the league office might’ve noticed.
*music intensifies*
Following the huge 37-23 win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday afternoon, starting right guard Austin Corbett found an early Christmas present waiting for him at his locker . . .
Franchise rushing record…

Corbett’s selection came fresh off a game where the Panthers rushed for a franchise record 320 yards. The offense also amassed a franchise record of 570 total yards, dwarfing the previous mark of 548 set back in Week 10 of the 2017 season.
The work of Corbett and his fellow hog mollies led to some individual bests, too. Running backs D’Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard both notched new career-highs in rushing yards—with the former going for 165 and a touchdown on 21 carries and the latter for 125 on 12 attempts.
Oh, and they even allowed zero hits of quarterback Sam Darnold—keeping the fifth-year passer completely clean. And hopefully, the results of this test are as well.
