Jack White has seized his Summer League opportunity to earn a two-way NBA contract with Denver.
The former Melbourne United forward and Duke graduate sealed the move after stuffing the stats sheet in back-to-back games for the Nuggets, despite joining the tournament late due to national team commitments.
White will spend the bulk of next season with Grand Rapids Gold, the Nuggets' G League affiliate, and no more than 45 days with the NBA squad as part of the two-way deal.
"I'm ecstatic for Jack, he possesses all the traits that a coach wants in a player, he will be a great asset to Denver," Boomers coach Brian Goorjian said.
"During his recent games with the Boomers, Jack was a tremendous teammate with a very high basketball IQ, I hold him in the highest regard and wish him all the very best."
White was coached by Mike Krzyzewski and played with NBA stars Zion Williamson and Jayson Tatum during his four-year college career before winning an NBL title with United in 2011 and overcoming a serious Achilles injury.
He will be Australia's third new face in the NBA, following draftees Dyson Daniels and Luke Travers, while Aron Baynes and Matthew Dellavedova are also pushing for returns.
