Amazon’s Audible has been a big hit with book lovers ever since it launched, and is now the number one producer of digital audiobooks in the world.
Now they’ve launched a new deal that lets subscribers get their first four months for 50% off when they sign up.
While some may find nothing better than settling down with a good book, Audible lets you listen to all your favourite books and podcasts on the go.
That means you don’t have to stop your story just because you have somewhere to be, and can carry on listening in the car, while travelling or even while out for a walk.
It’s also the ideal way to make sure you have plenty of reading material on holiday, without weighing down your suitcase with books.
How does the deal work?
Members have access to more than 200,000 audiobooks, podcasts, and Audible originals, and now new subscribers will be able to sign up for just £3.99 a month .
The offer is only available to new members, and gives you access to their full range of digital downloads, and gives you four credits over a four month period.
You can use one credit a month to purchase an audiobook totally free of charge which will be yours to keep.
All you need to do is sign up, and you’ll be given the first four month’s subscription at 50% off.
After the four months, your subscription will automatically renew at the usual price of £7.99.
If you don’t want to carry on being a member, all you need to do is cancel your subscription after the four months is up.
You’ll need an Amazon account to sign up and to store any purchases or downloads you’ve made.
If you do decide to cancel your subscription, any purchases you’ve made either with credits or money will stay on your account so you can carry on listening as much as you want.
You’ll also still be able to download and purchase audiobooks without your subscription.

Each subscription offers a different benefit, and can include up to 24 free credits a year that you’re given when you sign up and renew each year.

Audible will also automatically offer new users the chance to try out their service for free as part of a 30 day free trial, with the Premium Plus subscription renewing at £7.99 after the month is up.
