An Audi crashed into parked cars after an "incident" involving a quad bike and a motorcycle as officers issue an urgent appeal.
At around 10.15pm on Tuesday, October 11, Merseyside Police were called to a report of a collision on Marshalls Cross Road in St Helens, involving a grey Audi that had driven into several parked vehicles on the road. The driver and passengers remained at the scene, with one suffering a minor head injury and was treated at the scene.
But subsequent enquiries in the area revealed that the riders of a quad bike and motorcycle had caused damage to a parked motor vehicle and had ridden away from the scene - which then may have initially been followed by the grey Audi.

Merseyside Police confirmed that three men, two aged 26 and one of 31 from the St Helens and Greater Manchester areas were arrested on suspicion of driving offences. But the force is appealing for anyone with information.
Officers also urge the quad or scrambler bike involved to come forward with any information. It is believed one of the bikes is black with orange markings.
Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden said: "Although arrests were made shortly after the collision, we are still appealing for anyone to come forward who saw this incident that caused extensive damage to cars and properties in the community. If you were on Marshalls Cross Road at the time of the incident and saw the collision, have any CCTV and dash camera footage or any information which may assist the investigation, please contact police.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact @MerPolCC on Twitter or Merseyside Police Contact Centre on Facebook quoting reference 22000751623.
