Propelled into the spotlight after playing April in sitcom Parks and Recreation, Aubrey Plaza is known for her quick wit and deadpan attitude.
The American actress presented one of the Screen Actor's Guild Awards alongside actress Jenna Ortega, acclaimed for her role as the gothic Wednesday in Netflix's series.
While the two worked well together, joking that they had nothing in common, this was not the moment that caught fans' attention at the awards show.
Instead when Plaza took to the stage with her White Lotus cast mates, fans commented she looked "annoyed" and seemed to say something angrily while co-star F. Murray Abraham gave an acceptance speech.

The White Lotus won the SAG Award for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series, with the entire cast piling onto the stage to accept. This included Theo James, Will Sharpe, Sabrina Impacciatore and Jennifer Coolidge as well as Plaza who stood just to the right of the microphone.
She appeared to be warned of a wardrobe malfunction by Jon Gries who played Coolidge's love interest Greg in the show.
Plaza wore a daring sequined dress with cut outs around her abs, however, it looked as if she was about to accidentally flash the audience as Gries whispered something in her ear.
Quickly, she sorted the dress and the pair returned to listening to F. Murray Abraham giving his speech. All is normal for the remainder of the speech but as the crowd claps, Plaza seems to mouth something that has caused debate online.
The 83-year-old actor said he sent "a prayer out to the earthquake victims of Syria and Turkey and a prayer for peace in Ukraine and Russia." He concluded with a cry of "Union forever!" which gained a cheer from the crowd, but Plaza looked confused and unimpressed.
Fans are unsure if Plaza then mouthed "Jesus Christ" or "s**t's f**ked" as the rest of the cast hugged each other and applauded.
It is unclear if Plaza was reacting to the speech, sudden applause or her earlier wardrobe mishap and she has not publicly commented on the incident.
The actress, who is known for her introverted behaviour, didn't hug any of her co-stars while on stage and was one of the first to exit along with on-screen partner Will Sharpe.
Fans noticed her odd behaviour, as one fan said: "My first thought was that the actor who spoke with Audrey said something f**ked up about her outfit. Not that it was about to malfunction as some have reported."
"I mean they put her in the back like she wasn't the star of season 2," said someone else while a fourth added: "All the woman and main storyline characters being pushed [to the] back".
One TikTok user defended Plaza and commented: "She almost got elbowed and also was being shoved in the back the whole time, put two and two together". Another said: "The arm hugging the person next to her almost took her out."
She did appear to be in good spirits earlier in the evening, laughing with Ortega after they presented the award for Outstanding Male Actor in a television movie or limited series. The pair also took fun pictures together, with Plaza pulling faces behind the younger star.
Plaza also posed happily for photos with her fellow Parks and Recreation alums Amy Poehler and Adam Scott, smiling and joking.
After the on-stage drama she also had pictures taken with Sharpe, gazing up at him and laughing while they held their newly won awards.
