A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing.
Police were called to Bedford Road, Walton, at around 12.20pm on Monday, January 16 after reports a woman had been stabbed. Officers then followed a suspect who was seen heading towards Breeze Hill flyover.
The suspected was arrested and taken into custody. Merseyside Police have now confirmed that they have charged someone in connection to the attack.

Thomas McClean, 35, from Walton, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place. The stabbing victim was described as having suffered serious injuries.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Detectives have charged a man following a stabbing in Walton on Monday, 16 January. At around 12.20pm, we received a report that a woman had sustained stab wounds inside a property.
"A man was later arrested on the flyover on Breeze Hill. The victim is now recovering following hospital treatment.
Thomas McClean, 35, from Walton has now been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place. McClean will appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday 18 January."
