Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona reveals she had nasty punch up with Natasha Hamilton

Kerry Katona revealed she once had a physical fight with her Atomic Kitten bandmate Natasha Hamilton.

The star was part of the original line-up with Liz McClarnon and Heidi Range – who was later replaced with Natasha, now 40.

Kerry and the girls were on their Australian and New Zealand leg of the tour when the incident occurred. On the tour, Michelle Heaton had stood in for Liz.

The 42-year-old had been drinking all day and was later taken to the hospital by an ambulance because of the fight.

She was pictured looking worse for wear, with Natasha previously claiming it was Kerry's fault for calling photographers.

In her new book, Whole Again, Kerry explained: "We got into a huge fight.

"I’m not proud of the fact it turned physical but I was absolutely fuming that she was accusing me of doing something I absolutely didn’t do.

“I was going mental. I kicked off in front of everyone. They ended up locking me out of the pub, so I tried to break the door down to get back in. I was absolutely furious."

The group continued without Kerry – who was replaced by Jenny Frost – and has been performing since the 2000s.

She said of the group: "I’m sad and envious. What I wouldn’t give to be back on stage with them.

"There’s no better feeling than being in front of an audience with your mates singing songs and doing dance routines. I’d be there in a heartbeat if they wanted me back.

"All I can do now is take the high road and wish them every success in the world."

Kerry recently called on her former bandmates to reconcile with her as 'life is too short'.

She said it was a 'lovely idea' that Girls Aloud were reuniting to pay tribute to their late pal Sarah Harding – who died following a battle with breast cancer at the age of 39 last year.

Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts took part in the Race For Life in London's Hyde Park.

The news of Girls Aloud reuniting for their pal made Kerry reminisce about her time with Atomic Kitten.

"I’m not as close to the Atomic Kitten girls as I once was, and it does make me wonder what would happen if, God forbid, anything happened to one of us," she said in her column for OK!.

" We’ve not spoken for years. I think life is too short and it’s a shame."
