Motherwell FC have pointed out that their striker Kevin van Veen is beating superstars from around the world in the scoring chart, including Atletico Madrid star Mephis Depay, Liverpool's Cody Gakpo and PSV superstar Xavi Simons.
Van Veen has netted 17 goals in 36 games on his way to what is likely to be a record-breaking season, and is second in the league table only to Spartak Moscow's Quincy Promes.
The former Scunthorpe hit man is ahead of Liverpool's Cody Gakpo because he's played two games fewer than the ex-PSV star.
A social media message issued by the Premiership club read: "Cody Gakpo, Memphsi Depay, Zavi Simons, our number nine is the second highest Dutch goal-scorer worldwide."
Motherwell are idle this weekend but host second-placed Rangers at Fir Park on March 18.
