Atalanta expecting bruising Champions League battle against 'very physical' Celtic

Former Chelsea star Davide Zappacosta admits Atalanta are expecting a bruising battle against Celtic in tomorrow's Champions League showdown.

The Hoops travel to Bergamo for the third game in their group stage after a huge win against Slovan Bratislava which was followed by a hammering from Borussia Dortmund.

Celtic dropped points for the first time this season at the weekend after throwing away a two-goal lead against Aberdeen.

And he looked ahead to the visit of the Scottish champions with a warning.

He said: "Celtic are a very physical team, who will want to make things difficult for us.

"We have full focus on them and only after the game will we think about our next two Serie A games against Verona and Monza.

"I am very happy with the way we are playing just now. We are on a good run. It's never easy to come here to Venezia and win."
