Russell Henley leads the way after round one of the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am following a scintillating eight-under 64 at Spyglass Hill on Thursday.
The World No.18 is a shot clear of several players after making nine birdies and a lone bogey on the par-5 14th. Justin Rose, Jake Knapp, Cam Davis and Viktor Hovland are in the group right behind having each gone low around Pebble Beach on Thursday.
Sepp Straka and Rasmus Hojgaard make up the remainder of the group at seven-under, with the European pair - like Henley - having battled Spyglass Hill first up. Henley will hope to build on his advantage when he begins his assault of Pebble Beach alongside Max Greyserman from the 10th hole at 11:48am ET (4:48pm GMT) on Friday.
Also right in contention on six-under are Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry - both of whom made a hole-in-one during the first round. Lowry scored an ace at Pebble Beach's iconic 7th hole while McIlroy dunked his ball straight in at Spyglass Hill's 119-yard 15th.
The European Ryder Cup pair are on the same score as Team USA's Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay, plus Eric Cole, Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges. Lowry takes on Spyglass Hill from the first at 12:01pm ET (5:01pm GMT) with Aaron Rai as his playing partner while McIlroy begins the first of three days at Pebble Beach at 12:53pm ET (5:53pm GMT) with Ludvig Aberg for company.

They make up part of the 80 PGA Tour pros and 80 celebrity amateurs competing across the two Californian courses on Thursday and Friday before the pros go it alone at Pebble Beach on Saturday and Sunday for the title.
A massive $20 million is on offer in terms of the total prize money payout, with a little under $4 million reserved for the winner. The runner-up and third place will bank in excess of $1 million while anyone who finishes inside the top-36 will collect a six-figure paycheck.
