A Stryker building in Cork has been evacuated with at least one person suffering from serious injuries.
According to CorkBeo, emergency services were called to the scene of an incident in east Cork. It is understood that currently, fire service units from Midleton are still in attendance with at least one man in their 40s suffering from serious injuries, he was subsequently taken to Cork University Hospital.
The publication has also reported that one building, located at the Anngrove site in Carrigtwohill, has been cleared. The Health and Safety Authority of Ireland have been notified and is investigating.

The Anngrove building is a major 3D printing facility for the multinational medical technologies company.
Stryker is a major employer in Ireland, with over 4,100 people engaged in work across six different locations across the country.
A Stryker spokesperson told Cork Beo: "This afternoon there was an incident at our Anngrove facility which was managed by our emergency response team with support from local emergency services. Two people were transferred to the hospital and all others were safely evacuated from the facility.
"We’re committed to a safe and healthy work environment at all of our facilities. We’re working closely with the authorities to investigate the incident."
A Garda spokesperson told CorkBeo: "Shortly after 1:15 pm, on Tuesday, April 18 2023, Gardaí and Emergency Services were alerted following an accident at an industrial unit in Carrigtwohill, County Cork."
"A man in his early 40s was removed from the scene by Ambulance to Cork University Hospital. His injuries are understood to be serious. The scene is preserved for examination and the HSA has been notified."
