Team Asobi teased more cameos that could be coming to Astro Bot on the PlayStation 5 as more unreleased bots were seen in the credits of the latest DLC update.
One Reddit user, pkowswald, noted that the two bots released in the game's latest DLC did not fill in the gaps of all the unreleased bots that players have seen. These come from several video game franchises like Assassin's Creed and Rayman.

It is also entirely possible that the credits referring to unreleased bots come from deals that have not been finalized or are from content that was cut.
But what makes the idea of more DLC bots coming to the game is that the credits were updated to include an extra character after the release of the final speedrunning level.
Another thing that leads credence to more bots coming to the game is that Astro Bot featured franchises like Stellar Blade in its credits. This was before protagonist Eve was even added as a bot in one of the speedrunning DLC, according to IGN.
Team Asobi still features licensing credits for a lot of video game franchises that do not yet have their own bot in the game.
These include Beyond Good & Evil, Tomba, and Worms. There has been no information on whether or not they will be featured in Astro Bot in the future.
The developer's PlayStation 5 exclusive title seems to have done relatively well commercially and has been praised by many critics and fans. This suggests that Sony may be willing to do more DLC content in the future.
More Cameo Characters
The rumors also come as this year's Tomba! Special Edition is giving an updated version of the 1997 classic from the PlayStation 1 era. The platforming adventure game was originally published by PlayStation and is now coming to PlayStation 5, Eurogamer said.
Despite Tobma! 2 coming out more than two decades ago, fans have joined forces to form a cult following despite the sequel's middling sales figures. Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is in a similar boat to Tomba! It also got a remastered version this year.
The situation comes as the latest DLC level that was released is the last of the five that were planned to be added to Astro Bot following its Launch.
It was reported that Team Asobi originally wanted to bring five speedrun levels and 10 challenge levels to Astro Bot, according to the Video Games Chronicle.
