Astonished woman catches moment UFO flies over Edinburgh landmark

A Fife woman believes she has captured a UFO flying above Arthur's Seat from her home on the other side of the Firth of Forth.

Melissa Mcmanus, 35, from Dunfermline, said that she was looking towards Edinburgh when she saw a strange orange-like object above the famous capital landmark.

The photos were taken at around 11.46pm on Saturday night when Melissa was just letting her dog outside for the toilet.

In the images a strange orange orb light is visible next to a lamp post in the sky.

“Our house looks out directly towards Edinburgh and Arthur’s Seat,” she said.

“I did think it may have been the pink moon after doing a wee bit of research but we haven’t seen a pink moon all week and an hour later the orange light wasn’t there anymore.

“The photos were taken last night at 11.46pm while I was letting the dog outside to the toilet.

“I’ve always been an open minded person about things that aren't easily explained and I am quite spiritual.

“But my partner is a total non-believer and dismissed it as a fire which it definitely was not!

“I haven’t seen anything like it before.”

Edinburgh residents are increasingly logging what they believe to be sightings of UFOs with 2022 being a record year for strange objects in the skies above the capital.

Two weeks ago a city centre couple believed they had captured a UFO above their Pleasance home.

West Lothian is globally renowned for being a hot spot for extra terrestrial sightings and it may well be the case that the capital is now being targeted by alien visitors.
