Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis has admitted that he would like to return to Nottingham Forest this summer following an impressive loan stint at the City Ground.
Davis played an instrumental role in helping Steve Cooper's side achieve promotion out of the Championship last season as the Reds beat Huddersfield in the play-off final at Wembley. The 24-year-old scored five times in 15 appearances for the club, and reports claim that Forest are keen on signing the striker on a permanent basis this summer.
Though, Cooper has already added more firepower to his squad, ahead of the club's first Premier League season in 23 years. Taiwo Awoniyi has joined for a club record £17million fee, which could imapct the club's pursuit of Davis.

Villa have reportedly slapped a £15million price tag on Davis and it is unclear at this stage whether Forest would match their demands. However, with the Reds set to surpass the £60million spending mark in the coming days - with Omar Richards and Neco Williams expected to join Cooper's squad - signing another striker might not be at the top of the agenda.
But the Villa forward has previously admitted that he'd like to return to the City Ground ahead of the new campaign. Asked last season if he would like to stay beyond the summer, Davis has previously said: "Yeah, of course. This is the best I’ve played and the most I’ve enjoyed my football in my whole entire life, so it’s just great to be here.
"Obviously the manager is a big part of it, but the dressing room has also got the right balance of older and young players - like Cookie (Steve Cook), and then young players like myself, Djed (Spence) and Brennan (Johnson). It’s just a great mixture. And then the manager lets us express ourselves and be ourselves.
"We have a bit of banter about that, about loving it here. But as you can tell by the way we’re playing, you can tell us loan signings all love it here. It’s good at the moment. We’re just enjoying it. You don’t get many clubs like this, especially in the Championship. They shouldn’t be here."
