Assessing the NBA’s trade landscape early in the 2023-24 season

Just days away from the arrival of December 15 — the first day much of the NBA’s players can be traded after signing deals in the 2023 offseason — fans of the Boston Celtics and the other 29 teams in the league will be able to expand the range of options that could be included in a trade for their favorite ball club.

And while the Celtics are not seen as a team that will be making any major moves after having made two such blockbuster deals this summer, Boston could still execute a smaller trade or two in order to shore up their bench depth, which, while not bad, could also be a bit stouter.

And with that sort of conundrum in mind, ESPN cap guru Bobby Marks joined “The Lowe Post” podcast host Zach Lowe to talk through the league’s trade landscape ahead of the 15th of the month, including a bevy of potential targets the Celtics might have interest in.
