"Aspiring rappers" were arrested by police while reportedly filming a music video.
A group of six people were approached in St Helens town centre, while brandishing machetes and wearing balaclavas while recording footage, after several reports were made to police. Merseyside Police claimed the youths fled the scene but were apprehended.
Six males were arrested on suspicion of affray, possessing offensive weapons and bladed articles and drugs supply offences. Police shared an update on the arrests via social media.

It said: "Following several reports during the evening regarding youths causing annoyance in the town centre, officers attended to see what was happening.
"It appeared that some 'aspiring local rappers' were filming their latest music video. They appeared to be somewhat camera shy, choosing to wear balaclavas. It was reported that some of these 'musicians' were armed with machetes to enhance their image of being violent and intimidating thugs.
"They weren't too keen to perform for a live audience, complete with flashing blue stage lighting and ran from officers. Fortunately St Helens officers were able to swoop in and gather them up for an 'encore' in our custody suite. Six males were arrested on suspicion of affray, possessing offensive weapons and bladed articles and drug supply offences."
