A woman opened her ASOS order of new boots - but when she put her foot in one to try it on she found something unusual inside.
Gemma Arnott, 43, of Knutsford, Cheshire, shared her ‘hilarious’ experience after putting her foot in one of the boots only to find a number of chips were inside. Gemma, a talent partner for a recruitment business, orders off ASOS frequently.
She told the Liverpool Echo: “I ordered a pair of leather boots from ASOS, I put my foot into the first boots and realised there was something in there. I tipped the boot upside down and the two chips literally fell out.”

Gemma has managed to see the funny side of the situation. She added: “I thought it was hilarious that there were two rogue chips in my boot. Clearly someone has tried them on whilst eating a Maccies and they’ve fallen in and ASOS haven't checked the returned boots. OR they were planted by ASOS! Either option is funny to me.”
Gemma added: “It hasn’t put me off ordering from them however, I am disappointed that they haven’t engaged with some online banter about the situation, given that I’ve posted it across all of my socials and made a joke out of it!”
ASOS said it had invited the customer to get in contact so it can investigate.
