ASOS beauty advent calendar for Christmas 2022 - everything we know so far

It's that time of year again when beauty lovers rejoice at the launch of several Christmas advent calendars. Yes, the dreaded C word is upon us but many shoppers are gearing up for a busy festive period and this year is no different.

Advent calendars have moved on from the traditional chocolate offerings and several retailers now give Christmas lovers a variety of 24 treats in the lead up to the big day, whether that be miniature bottles of festive tipples behind those cardboard doors, or toys, perfumes, makeup and even cheese for the food lovers.

It's also a big trend in the beauty world and several popular brands have already released their beauty advent calendars early this year in order to compete. ASOS, in particular, is a favourite, with the retailer offering advent calendars for men and women.

Last year, ASOS released their advent calendars on September 7, with the launch of the ASOS Face + Body 24 Day Calendar (priced at £75) and the ASOS Grooming 12 Day Calendar (priced at £40). Brimming with hyped makeup, cult skincare and haircare heroes from the likes of Charlotte Tilbury, Olaplex and MAC, the calendars were a big hit with beauty lovers.

We reviewed the calendars last year, which we recommended at the time, especially if you use all the products inside, simply because of its value for money.

Last year's featured The Clinique Take The Day Off Balm, which usually costs around £10 for a 15ml pot, as well as the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask (75ml), which usually retails at £24 on it's own. That £75 price tag for the whole calendar seems very reasonable indeed when you factor in the costs of the individual items.

ASOS are yet to officially launch their 2022 advent calendar but judging by last year's launch date it is expected to be very soon. It could even be this week.

In terms of the pricing I suspect it will be in a similar range with last year's but with the cost of living affecting almost everyone, it may be slightly higher. Keep up to date with when it does launch via the ASos landing page here.
