Ask Arnold Schwarzenegger to help Glasgow's pothole problem, Scots singer quips

A SCOTTISH singer has called on Glasgow City Council to seek the help of Hollywood megastar Arnold Schwarzenegger to fix its pothole problem.

Amy Macdonald shared a video clip of the Terminator star helping his neighbours fill in a huge pothole that he said had been "screwing up cars and bikes for weeks".

Schwarzenegger added: "I always say, let's not complain, let's do something about it."

Bishopbriggs-born singer Macdonald decided to share the video and tag Glasgow City Council on Twitter.

She told them to give the former governor of California a call to help fix potholes in the city.

Social media users were quick to make jokes about the idea, with many calling him the "Tarminator".

Another added: "If the tar all comes out again Amy ... He'll be back!"

Glasgow City Council was contacted for comment.
