New parking charges have come into force at one of the city's most loved green spaces. Ashton Court Estate has three car parks spread across the estate, with the new charges coming into force earlier this month.
The popular Mansion House car park has gone from £1.20 per day to £1 for up to one hour, £2 for up to two hours and £3 for up to five hours. The same new charges will apply to the Church Lodge car park.
The Clifton Lodge car park will now be £1.50 for up to one hour, £2.50 for up two hours and £4 for up to five hours. Visitors can also pay for extra hours if they want to stay longer.

Bristol City Council indicates that Clifton Lodge car park may have overflow parking at busy times, which will have the same charges as the main Clifton Lodge car park.
The Ashton Court car parks open at 8am. Closing times vary throughout the year.
Parking charges were introduced at several green spaces in the city earlier this year. Back in September, Bristol Live reported that Bristol City Council had put plans in place to install pay and display machines at the main Blaise Castle car park off Kings Weston Road, as well as in car parks at Oldbury Court and Snuff Mills.
Park users have said they feel "penalised" by the charges at the beauty spots, while residents said they were "extremely worried" by them. The council has previously said the funds raised will help manage parking and enable maintenance and improvements in Bristol’s green spaces.
