Ashley Ross dead: Little Women Atlanta star Ms Minnie dies after hit-and-run

Ashley Ross, star of reality show Little Women: Atlanta, has died aged 34 yesterday after being involved in a hit-and-run.

The reality star, better known as Ms Minnie, succumbed to her injuries after being involved in a car accident.

Her management company confirmed the tragic news in a statement, saying: "It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34.

"The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."

Ashley was injured at 11pm on Sunday night near Old National Hwy, passing away Grady Memorial Hospital at around 10.30pm on Monday.

She is survived by her mother Tammy Jackson, aunt Veronica Deloney, uncle John Deloney, and grandmother Rose Deloney.

Minnie had been dating music producer Slickbeatz since 2019.

He has now commented on death, writing on his Instagram account: "The moment I saw you, I just knew it. I realized that you are all that I have been searching for all my life.

"I love you today, I love you tomorrow and I will love you the same 10 years from now. Ima miss you baby girl #teamminnieforlife Rip @msminnielwa Love of my life #prayformommatammie #prayforme"

Minnie's long-time co-star and friend Amanda Salinas has also shared a lengthy tribute on her own Instagram account.

Amanda writes: "As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie !!!! Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!!

"It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is.

"I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever."

As the post continued, Amanda promised to do all she could to honour Minnie's memory and help her family.

"I promise to keep you alive in my memories and be there for your mama and aunt.

"You were more than our best friend you were our big sister and still is !!!

"I still can’t believe this man why man why!!!!, I love you so much !!!! My heart is broken.

"Rest In Peace my love."

Minnie has been part of Little Women: Atlanta since its inception, alongside the Salinas twins, Briana Barlup, Tiffany “Monie” Cashette, and Emily Fernandez.

Amanda's twin sister Drea wrote in a post: "Minnie why did you have to leave us so soon !!.??

"You were such a great friend / mama bear to us since the day we meet in LA To film the pilot shoot for the show omg i can’t believe this!!

"We are going to MISS YOU may you Rest In Peace my Minnie
#teamminnie #family #sistersforlife @msminnielwa"

Co-star and friend Ms Juicy Baby wrote in a post: "This is too much."

She added in the Insta caption: "Prayers for Minnie's family!"

Tributes have also poured in on Minnie's own Instagram account.

Little Women LA star Keeshlinooo commented on the post regarding her death: "Wowwww I didn’t even get to meet you yet."

Little Women: LA's Tonya Banks also paid tribute on her own Instagram account, writing: "Ms Minnie you will be missed RIH girlie . My condolences to her friends and family #LWATL #Lifetime #msminnie #gonetosoon"

Minnie clearly adored being part of the show that changed her life.

She previously told MadameNoire: "I wanted to be part of this movement because I want everyone to see our point of view in life. I want people to, you know, see what we go through.

"The everyday struggle that little people go through in life. When people say the struggle is real? It’s real. We go through hell and back."
