Ashley Graham proudly shows off her hairy armpits in stunning nude bath selfie

Ashley Graham has been met with praise from fans after displaying her underarm hair in a candid bath selfie.

The model and body positivity icon shared a nude snap from the tub, her armpits on full view.

Ashley had escaped for a weekend getaway with hubby Justin Ervin and their newborn son Isaac to mark her 33rd birthday, the new mum kicking back in the bath for a well-earned rest.

"Perfect bday with my boys," she wrote, "(and if you didn’t vote yet, get out there tomorrow folks!!)"

Fans soon commented of thanks after Ashley showed her "real" body with the snap.

"Love how you're rocking that under arm hair girl!" one wrote, "We're all human, people need to stop expecting us to live up to a standard."

Another gushed: "i swear to god you're the most beautiful woman in the world."

Ashley and Justin welcomed baby Isaac back in January, Ashley opening up on her experiences as a first time mum to ELLE.

She told the magazine: "First of all, I had no idea [giving birth] was going to hurt that bad.

"Let me just go there for a second: Every mother talks about, 'Oh yeah, it's painful.' Whether they got an epidural or not, or a C-section, whatever happened, they're like, 'Yeah, it hurt.'

"And they say it kind of calmly like that. They don't go into the astronomical pain that you go through, especially if you choose to go natural."

During her pregnancy, she was lauded for showing off her stretch, explaining that these changes are what make women "superheroes" in her mind.

She added: "When I look at my new stretch marks and the changes that my body went through, it reminds me that, as women, we're all superheroes.

"I'm always reminded that our bodies were built to do this. It's such a beautiful thing to be able to give birth, but I didn't realise it until afterward."
