Ash Taylor reckons it's a matter of time before Kilmarnock are back in Scotland's top flight.
The Rugby Park defender has inked a deal until next summer, and he's hoping that deal includes a year in the Premiership.
He was thrown straight in from the start for his debut away to Partick Thistle, and now he's set to make his home bow against Dundee United in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
He said: "Yeah most definitely, they are a Premiership club. The set-up, the stadium, the fans, everything about the club.
"They shouldn't have been relegated, it's such a big club. The club needs to be back up in the Premiership.
“It is always appealing when are trying for trophies and trying to win leagues. The manager [Derek McInnes] was also a big factor for me to come here and try to do that and build a new era for Kilmarnock.
"I have worked with him for a number of years now. Some of the training sessions I am familiar with, and I know what he wants to do and how he wants to go about things.
"I have settled in pretty easily, it has been good.
"It helps when you have played with a manager so much, when he signs you three times you know that he trusts you.
"He knows what you can bring to the squad, it is good to have that belief there that I can do the job."
Taylor added: "I have enjoyed moments when we got to cup finals, I have not had the chance to win it, but to be in the position where you can win it is fantastic.
"It's something that all clubs aim to do, get a cup run, and it's something we are looking at. I always look back on my time at Aberdeen, we had some great moments.
"The cup finals stick out especially, the ones where we were close to winning especially.
"Unfortunately I never got the chance to win that trophy, but to be in the position with a chance to do it is always good, you always want to have the memories of winning it, not so much losing."
