Asda is helping shoppers to enjoy a meat-free January by launching two new vegan ranges with over 112 items for 2023.
The supermarket giant has announced that it will be launching the new OMV! range, whilst also expanding its Plant Based range to help out those looking to try out a meat-free diet.
The grocery chain's launch comes just as millions of people around the country might be looking to cut back on their animal consumption by taking part in the annual Veganuary challenge.
Boasting more than 112 vegan-friendly options overall and a price-range that is set to start as low as £1.15, Asda's meat-free ranges are set to be nutritional and affordable.
Shoppers will be able to tuck into a whole host of tasty treats including the brand new Asda’s OMV! Hot & Spicy No Chicken Burgers (£2.25) which can be paired with the soft OMV! Brioche Burger Buns (£1.15), for an easy Friday night dinner with family or friends.
There will also be a host of vegan versions of some popular items such as the Plant Based by Asda Bacon style rashers (£2) and the OMV! No Pork Caramelised Red Onion Sausages (£2).
Classic comforting dishes such as the OMV! Macaroni Cheese (£2.85) will make a perfect midweek meal. Shoppers will also be able to enjoy a meat-free lunch with the Plant Based by Asda Chick*n Caesar Wrap (£2.75) and the OMV! No Prawn Sandwich (£2.75).
The brand new OMV! range will also feature a number of decadent treats for those with a sweet-tooth including the OMV! Choc Brownies (£2) and the OMV! Salted Fudge Chocolate Bar (£2.50).
Asda has said that its vegan items will be available throughout 2023, with 86 of them being available to buy online and in-store this January.
As an extra incentive, Asda is offering shoppers who spend £5 on their own-branded vegan products the opportunity to earn £1 back in their cash pot in the Asda Rewards app.
