Supermarket giant ASDA has blown shoppers away with a budget £3.50 meal that tastes so good, people say they don't want to buy a takeaway again. Swapping pricey takeaways for the budget ASDA meal could save you hundreds every year, especially with the cost of living crisis crippling millions of us.
ASDA makes £3.50 pizzas fresh in store, and, similar to chains like Dominos and Papa John's, you're allowed to choose your own toppings if you wish to do so. If not, there's plenty of flavour combinations on offer, and you can even choose the base you want.
User @thurnscoe_boy shared a snap of their freshly cooked pizza yesterday on the social media site, saying "#Asda pizza , f****ng delicious". The Tweet continued "Will never eat takeaway pizza , while ever these are so consistently gorgeous" followed by an emoji of a finger and thumb making a circle shape that typically means "I'm okay" or "I'm good".

Fellow Twitter users were quick to support the supermarket pizza with likes and comments. It was also correctly identify as a "Meat feast" and looks to be the ASDA Medium Stonebaked Mighty Meat Feast in either Deep Pan or Thin & Crispy - both are sold for for £3.50.
Nor is this the first time that shoppers have praised Asda's pizzas. There's plenty of positive online reviews for the Thin & Crispy variety, for example, one saying "Great price and good quality". A second reviewer added: "Nice and tasty cooks quickly plus I prefer the thin base".
"Yummy pizzas, plenty of topping, great value for money," said a third person. Not everyone agreed on the topping front, though, with others saying they were "disappointed" with the amount they got.
Others left comments on the product page read "Great tasting pizza, not to saucy on the base and good amount of topping", "Great value meal deal" and "Love these so tasty and do a brill deal". Per website, these pizzas are currently included in a takeaway-style mix and match meal deal, which lets you pick up two medium pies and a 1.75l bottle of drink for £6.
