Asda shoppers are keen to get their hands on a classic item that has been given a festive makeover.
The retailer has launched a full Christmas range which extends right from its George clothing, to decorations, festive food, and bakery items. On Wednesday, Asda took to Instagram to show off its latest Christmas offering, and customers have been left "drooling".
The supermarket's in-store bakery has long sold cookies, but now they've been given a festive twist.

Sharing a snap of the baked goods on social media, Asda's official account said: "This is not a drill. Our NEW Mince pie inspired cookies have landed! Question is, are you a mice pie fan? Yay or nay?
"P.S. For the perfect serve, enjoy with a cold glass of milk".
One shopper said: "Smashing it out the park!", while another said: "I think I'm actually drooling [cry-laughing emoji]. A third said: "Is five cookies one serving? Asking for a friend", and a fourth tagged someone they know before adding: "Saw these and thought of you!"
The new product comes after Asda launched a new festive cake jar that has also had shoppers talking. The retailer has launched four new elf-themed bkery products in time for the festive season. This comes after the success of Asda's Christmas advert, which sees Will Ferrell's character Buddy the Elf join the supermarket as the latest seasonal worker.
Priced at £3, the Festive Elf Cake Jar is made up of layers of chocolate sponge with chocolate sauce, sweet frosting and edible sugar sprinkles finished with an elf's hat. The cake jar is £1.25 less than Marks and Spencer's Cookie Dough Cake Jar.
