Supermarket giant ASDA has impressed shoppers with a £28 gadget that cooks perfect food in minutes. The gadget is so economical, and cooks food so quickly, shoppers have ditched their ovens after buying one.
One shopper was so impressed by kitchen appliance she said it made chips which were as good as those in her local fish and chip shop. Others have praised how little fat and oil is required to use the kitchen gadget.
The Black Compact Air Fryer is on sale in ASDA supermarkets from £28 and has hundreds of five star reviews from customers. According to the description, the 1.5L capacity means you can comfortably cook 1-2 portions, while the 30 minute timer with auto shut off means you can leave it to it while you get on with other tasks.

One of the most impressive features of this fryer is that no oil is needed, while cleaning is made easy thanks to the dishwasher safe drip tray and basket, says Birmingham Live.
And shoppers have been singing its praises. Natalia gave it five stars and said: "Great little air fryer. It is small so probably only enough for one person but fits nicely in a small kitchen and works perfectly fine."
While SueS chimed in and said: "Excellent product. Looks good on display and very economical to use! Cooking times are clear and as per instruction booklet! Very little amount of fat used to make for excellent chips!! Certainly as good as the chip shop! Most things can be cooked in the great little fryer"
And HazelK added: "A lovely gadget; cooks well without having to heat up an oven for a small item; light and small enough to put away in a cupboard when not wanted (although attractive enough to leave out!)" And Leslie who gave it five stars said: "As a person who is a university student, this airfryer is a great value for money for those budgeting. providing all the necessary functions of an airfryer whilst maintaining a simplistic design making it easy to use for both old and young"
