Savvy bargain hunters have been flocking to their nearest Asda store after shoppers reported finding £16 dinner sets are scanning for just £1.30 at the tills.
The supermarket chain has proven to be a popular choice among those who are looking for some affordable new homeware - and the latest is a serious bargain for those looking to save some pennies.
Taking to popular money-saving groups on Facebook, keen shoppers have shared how they have managed to nab the supermarket chain's 12-piece White Fawn Meadow Dinner Set for just £1.30, despite being priced at £16.
When we had a quick look online, the Asda website was still stocking the cute dinner set for the full £16, but shoppers are claiming they only got the reduced price once they were scanned at the checkout.
The White Fawn Meadow Dinner Set features four dinner plates, four side plates and four bowls, and Asda has explained that in-store availability and prices in-stores do vary from those online.
Sharing the bargain to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group, one shopper, Susan Davis, wrote: "In the right place at the right time. . couldn't believe the price, even asked asda staff . . . £1.30."
The post was quickly met with over 1,000 likes and hundreds of responses from shoppers who hailed the bargain purchase as an "absolute steal."
"Omg, looks gorgeous, well done xx", raved one.
"I bought this today for the same price. An absolute steal", exclaimed a second.
The exact same bargain was shared to the B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More Facebook page by another shopper who shared snaps of the White Fawn Meadow Dinner Set with red tags that highlighted they were reduced to just £1.30.
And, the White Fawn Meadow Dinner Set is not the only set that shoppers have managed to find reduced in-stores, as another shopper also said they found the Elephant 12-Piece Dinner Set had been reduced from £18 to £1.50 in their local store.
In-store prices and promotions may vary in each Asda store, so it is worth checking to see what price your local store is stocking the dinner-sets at.
