Asda shopper spots 'great' air fryer for less than £100 in store discounts

Now Christmas is over, popular supermarkets will want to get rid of any excess stock that they have left over from the big day.

This will often mean that shoppers will be treated to some great bargains as items are price-slashed in hopes of getting them out the door. One such store which has been discounting items as of late is Asda, and an air fryer costing less than £100 has caused some chatter amongst eagle-eyed consumers.

A member on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group shared a Salter Dual Air Pro air fryer which they said was on offer at just £90. This make and model typically costs just shy of £120, so it's a nifty bargain if you're able to pick it up in time.

The group member spotted the in-store bargain, saying: "Reduced in Asda was £120 now £90."

They shared a picture of the price slashed item, which costs a whole lot less than popular Ninja air fryers as some are selling for upwards of £200.

Shoppers clearly took note as the post received more than 100 comments from many who were tagging their friends so that they could see the bargain.

A user commented: "That’s a good deal! Shame we bought one a few days ago!"

"I have this and its great x," said another. One user who had already bought it wrote: "it getting a proper going at today love it."

These bargains are often available in-store only, as branches look to clear some of the leftover stock that they were hoping to sell in the run-up to Christmas. It's worth checking what your local supermarket has to offer in person, rather than just online, as you may come across a gem like this air fryer.

Similarly, shoppers who were out on Boxing Day found that festive chocolate prices were heavily reduced, with a box of matchmakers costing just 25p and one shopper getting a hold of a Quality Street tub for £2.
