An Asda shopper was so impressed by a meal that cost her 31p she took to social media to shout about it.
With the cost of food continuing to soar, millions of us are trying to keep our supermarket bills to a minimum. But as the cost of living crisis worsens, this is proving trickier.
One happy customer took to a Facebook group dedicated to budget living to share her surprising response to a cheap but hearty meal.

Sharing a photo of the dish she had created, the shopper said: "Tried Asda's Essentials spaghetti hoops and wasn't expecting much at all for the price but they're much fuller than Tesco tins and the sauce is thicker and tastier.
"Had the tin with a piece of toast with butter, loops were 16p, reckon all in all with butter too it cost me 31p and I'm full up after a nice lunch".
Other Facebook users were quick to comment. One said: "Agree about these hoops, thicker sauce than Heinz and kids prefer it", while a second added: "Far nicer than branded ones. Tasty and filling."
A third said: "Always stock up on these, living on them lately" and a fourth said: "Tried these because of the price and was pleasantly surprised so will get them again".
