Asda's huge Christmas chocolate èclair has shoppers making the same joke

Asda has brought back its giant chocolate èclair that is perfect for Christmas parties - but it looks like shoppers don't want to share it.

If there is one that we all love about the holiday season, it is the amount of food and sweet treats that hit the shelves every single year for us to try out.

And Asda has been wowing shoppers on social media with the return of its Extra Special Giant Belgian Chocolate and Caramel Éclair that has them heading to their nearest store as soon as possible.

Foodie Instagram page NewfoodsUK shared news of the dessert's return in a post captioned: "The Giant Chocolate & Caramel Éclair is back at @asda."

Priced at £7, the mammoth-sized dessert is made with delicate choux pastry and filled with chocolate and caramel flavour mousse. To make things even better, the limited-edition pastry is then topped with a gold coloured sweet dusting and is said to serve up to a whoping 10 people.

If you're tastebuds are already watering at the sound of a massive chocolate Éclair, then you wouldn't be alone, as multiple shoppers joked that they wouldn't be sharing the dessert, despite its serving size.

"Serves 10? Scribble out that zero", joked one shopper.

"My idea of portion size", agreed a second.

"Hahahaha serves 10", quipped a third.

"You would so scoff this ha!", said a fourth tagging their friend.

"Its back. My challenge this Xmas is to finish one", replied a fifth.

It's not the only dessert that has seen its size blown up by Asda for Christmas, as the supermarket is also selling a Giant Mince Pie and Giant Santa Themed Donut.

Asda's range of giant desserts are available in-stores now. Check with your store for stock availability, as we expect these to be snapped up soon.
