Asda recalling own brand mince pies which are unsafe to eat

Retailer Asda is recalling a range of its own brand of mince pies amid safety fears.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued the alert because Asda Extra Special Mince Pies may contain pieces of plastic which are unsafe to eat, Cornwall Live reports.

Shoppers who bought the item can return them to their nearest store immediately for a full refund.

People do not need to have their receipt to get their money back.
