As families continue to feel the crunch from the cost of living crisis, Asda is lending a helping hand by offering customers money off their flu jab.
With households bracing themselves for one of the most expensive winter periods in history, many will be looking for ways to keep their fuel bills down during the colder weather.
Which is why Asda has launched a cash incentive for any of their customers who will be booking in their annua l flu jab at any of its in-store pharmacies, reports The Liverpool Echo.
The supermarket giant currently has 254 pharmacies across the UK, with many Scottish branches offering the service in their larger stores.
Customers who have downloaded the Asda Rewards App will be rewarded with £1 into their online Cash Pot when they book their flu jab with the supermarket before October 23.
It comes after the Big Four Grocer launched their rewards app earlier this year, allowing customers to earn "pounds, not points" that they can redeem at the checkout.
The supermarket's private flu jab service is priced at £9.98 - the most affordable on the UK market - and the cash offer must be redeemed in-store by October 23.
The retailer is also offering free jabs to those who are eligible through the NHS, including those over the age of 50*, frontline or social care workers, pregnant individuals, or those with certain health conditions.
