Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and Boots recall children's product due to safety concern

Major supermarkets across the UK are urging parents to stop using a specific water bottle due to safety concerns.

Nuby has recalled all of their Incredible Gulp and Super Quench cups after the batch was found to potentially be a choking hazard for children, reports Hull Live.

The recall applies to all products bought between 1 November 2021 and 14 January 2022 from the Nuby UK website, Morrisons, Tesco or Boots.

In a recall statement the brand has said it is recalling the children's items as there may be a chance the silicone straw and spout may be damaged and could become detached.

If the spout becomes detached it could potentially lead to a choking hazard.

The brand said: ""We apologise for the inconvenience this causes and thank you for your co-operation.

"If you have any concerns or questions about this recall, you can contact our helpline on 0800 334 5844 or email enquiries@nuby-uk.com."

Parents who have bought the products have been urged by the brand to stop using them immediately.

Nuby has informed customers they can head to the Nuby UK website where they can fill out an online form to arrange a full refund.

Alternatively, customers can head to the store where the bought the product from for a full refund without a receipt.
