A UK supermarket has surprised 50,000 shoppers with a free Easter gift as a thank you.
This week, customers shopping online with Asda have been treated to a spring surprise.
As they went about their weekly shops, or picking up a few essentials, in their online orders, the supermarket giant has given out free bunches of tulips.
The customers were randomly selected to receive the treat just in time for the Easter weekend.
The tulips were dropped off by their delivery drivers with their orders and came with a note that said: "Just to say ... thanks a bunch for shopping with us. From Asda".

Of the 50,000 lucky shoppers, some took to social media to celebrate the surprise.
One user said “Thank you Asda for the lovely tulips. Most unexpected. They’ve made my day”.
Another said: “Today is a good day, bundle of flowers from @asda included in my shopping delivery”.

A third shared an image of the flowers and said “When you get a free bunch of flowers from your delivery driver from Asda … makes your day!”
Commenting on the initiative, a spokesperson from Asda said: “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do here at Asda so we were pleased to be able to surprise and thank so many of our customers with a bunch of our spring flowers.
"It’s also brilliant to see how much they brightened up people’s day!”
