Asda fans say £18 George dress is 'perfect for a wedding'

George at Asda shoppers are leaving rave reviews for a £16 dress said to be "perfect" for a wedding or a summer holiday.

Supermarket giant Asda's in-house brand George has successfully built a dedicated fan base, with devoted shoppers eager to get their hands on its extensive line-up of on-trend and reasonably priced products. George offers shoppers a range of departments including womenswear, childrenswear, menswear, accessories and more.

Like its high street competitors, George makes use of social media to ensure fans are kept up to date on all the newest stock and product launches.

A new Instagram video highlights some of its new spring collection, and shoppers are flocking to comment on one item in particular.

Lucy said: "The first dress is my new fave thing in my wardrobe right now", while Emma tagged a friend and said: "you need the first dress!"

George's new Green Blur Print Satin Midi Dress is on sale in stores and online for £18. That said, most sizes have already sold out on its website.

The garment is described as cowl neck and sleeveless, with a tie-up fastening back. It currently has a 4.7 star review on average.

One five-star reviewer said: "Love this dress, perfect for a wedding. It's very flattering on", while a second said: "Really nice dress, quite flattering and lovely material. Back fasten tie is quite faffy but looks good once it’s done properly", and a third added: "Would be lovely for an evening on holiday".

Meanwhile some four-star reviewers have praised the dress, but said you "need to go a size up".
