Asda brings back £1 biscuits that shoppers used to love

Shoppers at Asda supermarkets have been left feeling nostalgic after seeing a popular biscuit back on the shelves.

The supermarket giant has brought back a popular product which has been on and off shelves through the years and has often been the cause for petitions to bring it back.

Facebook page Snack News and Reviews announced that Asda is now stocking BN biscuits, which have made several relaunches over the years, Liverpool Echo reports.

Posting to Facebook, the page shared a photo of the product and said: “BN Biscuits are back! Now available in Asda in Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry flavours. How does the tune go again?”

The popular biscuits were taken off UK shelves between 2003 and 2013 and have only made a number of occasional appearances since.

The post proved popular with shoppers, who were quick to share their excitement with friends.

Beneath the phone, one person said: “Used to love these as a kid” and a second wrote: “I want these”.

A third added: “omg they’re back”.

A fourth shopper tagged a friend and said: “We need these”.

A fifth wrote: “will have to get some when I'm next in Asda like the chocolate ones”.

Another added: “chocolate ones are THE BEST!!! Xxx”.

BN biscuits are available from Asda now in flavours chocolate, vanilla and strawberry for £1.
