Shoppers have said they've come across the "ideal" product for banishing condensation and mould from their homes - and it costs less than £50.
The Russell Hobbs dehumidifier can be picked up from a number of different shops, such as Lidl and Asda. It's been described as "perfect" for getting rid of condensation, especially near windows, which can turn into harmful black mould if it's not dealt with.
Thankfully, the compact dehumidifier works to get rid of any dampness in the air, reducing humidity and is ideal to be used in your bedroom, bathroom, living room or anywhere else in the home.
Birmingham Live reports that the gadget includes an easy to empty water tank and has a maximum extraction rate of up to 300ml per day. It's simple to operate and features a low noise motor to ensure minimal disturbance while in use.
The dehumidifier also has an auto cut-off function when the tank is full, meaning it is suitable for operation for long periods of time without needing to be monitored.
The must-buy gadget was recently featured in Lidl's middle aisle for £49, so shoppers can head to their local store to try and find it. You can locate where your nearest shop is on Lidl's website. Shoppers can also order it from Amazon for £51.99 or Currys for the same price.
It's also available at Asda and has received plenty of rave reviews from happy shoppers.
One shopper said: "I am very pleased with this dehumidifier . I brought this for my bedroom, as have bad condensation on the windows. I only use it during the night, but it works well. It does feel up quickly and I am emptying every 2 days . The humidity is now between 65% and 75%, it as was 88%."
Another shopper said: "I purchased this as I was getting condensation in a small bedroom. It is certainly helping with the problem capturing about 4 tablespoons of water a day. It is fairly quite to run and is small and quite smart to look at. The only thing I would say is that it is quite difficult to open to get rid of the water."
And a third shopper added: "This will not match a compressor dehumidifier but the purpose it was bought for was to stop water and mold from building up on a bedroom window sill. For that it works fine. It collects around half a litre a week (two empties). I had no expectations that it would come close to the advertised 600ml per day, but it does the job."
