As Zach LaVine-Lakers Trade Buzz Swirls, Bulls Guard Also Open to Joining Kings, per Report

As the NBA trade rumor mill continues to swirl and Zach LaVine’s name remains linked to the Lakers, at least one other potential landing spot is worth monitoring.

To wit, the Bulls guard is reportedly “very amenable” to a deal that would send him to the Kings and make him backcourt mates with De’Aaron Fox, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick.

It’s an interesting potential duo, especially for a Sacramento team that could use another scoring option to pair with Fox. But as Amick points out, the idea of the Kings’ including second-year forward Keegan Murray in a potential deal appears less likely following his 47-point performance against the Jazz on Saturday.

Murray currently ranks third on the Kings in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game, and just behind him is Malik Monk, who has emerged as a key player with the second unit. It’s tough to envision Murray or Monk being part of a deal for LaVine, but the idea of pairing up the 28-year-old LaVine with an emerging superstar in Fox must be appealing.

Sacramento is reportedly a viable potential trade destination for Bulls guar Zach LaVine.

At the very least, the initial news linking LaVine to the Lakers and 76ers appears to have a third potential suitor in the mix, assuming the Kings are interested in making a play for LaVine.
