As Selling Sunset season three lands on Netflix, here are the most iconic moments from the show

From Love is Blind to Too Hot to Handle, Netflix has been home to some of this year’s most talked-about reality TV shows.

Its latest hit is the ultra-glossy Selling Sunset, which follows the lives and loves of the realtors selling some of Los Angeles’ most expensive properties.

Naturally, the multi-million dollar houses are only a small part of what has made Selling Sunset unmissable television, with fans becoming hooked on the glamorous group’s bitching and back-stabbing.

But with the show produced by the same team who also made The Hills, we wouldn’t expect anything less than compelling (if not slightly over-produced and vapid) drama.

As we get ready for season three to hit screens, here are just some of Selling Sunset’s very best moments (expect Christine to feature heavily)…

Christine Quinn vs Chrishell Stause

Christine is at the centre of a lot of drama (Netflix)

It was the feud that dominated season one (“She’a a b*tch who must own Sunglasses Hut because she is so f*****g shady”), so viewers were on tenterhooks when the show’s tornado of confrontation Christine Quinn decided to have things out with her nemesis Chrishell Stause in the opening episodes of season two.

With an opening line that would make the creators of Love Island proud (Christine starts the battle with ‘can I steal you for a sec’), Chrishell went on to explain that she wanted to keep as far away from Christine as possible – and who can blame her? Queen of petty drama Christine asked the other women in the office to not like any of Chrishell’s Instagram photos, and even went as far to name a drink “Chrishell's Two Faced Tonic" at a party Chrishell wasn't invited to.

But in all fairness, Christine took it all on the chin and apologised to Chrishell, and while the pair will probably never be best friends, it was good to see them settle their differences in this heavily-staged chat.

Amanza Brown vs Heather Rae Young

(Netflix)

Another simmering feud which saw tensions reach fever pitch was the war of words between “don’t call me new girl” new girl Amanza Brown and Heather Rae Young. Heather took umbrage to Amanza talking about Heather being on friendly terms with her boyfriend’s ex-wife. While Amanza was only commenting on how it can be strange on children to meet a new partner (speaking from her own experience as a single mother) Heather saw it as an affront on her.

With pretty much everyone talking about what was essentially a harmless conversation, it’s not surprising that things escalated, with Heather confronting Amanza at a beach party with everyone watching. While Amanza tried to put her side across, Heather fundamentally told her to butt out.

With Amanza left thinking things had been cleared up, she was left stunned with Chrishell tried to discuss the Heather situation as she didn’t think it would still “be a thing”. Seems someone’s not watched Selling Sunset before.

‘There was an overlap’

At the beginning of the second season, Christine revealed she had met the man of her dreams, had travelled around the world with him and had even got engaged to much fanfare (‘The budget for my wedding is love.’) However, Heather reported to Christine that Mary Fitzgerald and Chrishell were talking about the legitimacy of Christine's relationship, and one even saying that Christine could have been “the other woman”.

At the bachelorette party, Christine decided to confront former bestie Mary, who was super-straightforward about the gossip.

“I said that,” she said. “There was an overlap.”

While we may have expected Christine to go hell for leather, Selling Sunset’s resident Queen of Mean is evidently left speechless by Mary’s direct manner. The. Drama.

Drag her Romain!

(Netflix)

Davina Potratz had plenty to say about Mary’s engagement ring from French model Romain Bonnet in series one, being snarky over the fact he didn’t propose with a diamond, but with a moissanite.

The drama led to Romain not wanting to invite a “rude” Davina to the wedding, leaving fiancée Mary in a bit of a tight spot. When a particularly passionate Romain openly said Davina was “disrespectful” and told the office he didn’t want Davina there, Mary begged the girls not to say anything to her before she got a chance to – which Christine, naturally ignored.

When Davina at down with Romain to hash things out, Romain stuck to his guns and didn’t back down – much to viewers’ delight.

Mary selling a property…on her wedding day…

After being best pals with Christine in season one, their relationship became extremely strained in season two, seeing the pair have a huge falling out with Christine stopping by at Mary’s wedding dress fitting to casually apologise for being “a total b*tch.”

But things did look up for one of the best realtors in California, even pausing her own wedding day to sell the French estate she was getting married in. No rest for the wicked, huh.

The $40 million property

Fans will remember the Oppenheim Group were working on a house worth $40 million in the first season. Well, we manage to catch a glimpse of it in season two, and it’s the only thing that could leave even this bitchy bunch speechless.

Selling Sunset season three launches on Friday 7th August on Netflix
