Arvind Kejriwal promises ten lakh jobs to youths in Gujarat, compares paper leak with Vyapam scam

RAJKOT: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing the youths in a townhall meeting in Bhavnagar on Tuesday declared the calendar of government recruitment if Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) comes to power in the upcoming assembly election in Gujarat.

The AAP convener promised to bring a strict law against the cases of examination paper leak with the provision of ten years jail term .

He also promised to reopen the cases of paper leak in the state since 2015 and prosecute all the perpetrators.

Terming the cases of paper leak in competitive examinations over the past few years in Gujarat a bigger scam than the infamous Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh, the Delhi CM said, "The paper leak incidences in Gujarat happen more frequently than bursting of fiire crackers during Diwali across the country"

"They made the CBI conduct raids on Manish Sisodia (Delhi deputy CM) based on a false case even when he did nothing wrong, but no CBI raid was conducted against those involved in leaking the (government exam) papers (in Gujarat). Why? Because people behind the paper leak are their own," the AAP national convener said.

Kejriwal claimed a minister in Gujarat had said that the preference in government jobs will be given to those from the ruling party. "Do government jobs belong to your father? Government jobs do not belong to any party but Gujarat's youths. We will conduct recruitment in a transparent manner and change the process," he said.

Kejriwal while addressing the youth on the subject of education and employment promised to create ten lakh government jobs in next five years and declared a recruitment calendar.

According to Kejriwal, if his government comes into power in December, they will organise the Talai exam in February 2023 and the result will be declared in April and the posting will be done in the same month. In May he announced that he would conduct TET exams for teachers in May and the result will be announced in July.

The government teachers in Gujarat are currently facing problems of posting in their favourite districts. Kejriwal promised to give every teacher a chance to choose their favourite district for posting in July and they will start recruitment for vacant posts in August. He announced that he will conduct PSI and ASI exams in November.

Manish Sisodiya, his deputy while addressing the gathering claimed that in Delhi AAP government has given two lakh jobs in the government sector and ten lakh jobs in the private sector thanks to the government's initiative. He alleged that the Central government is tightening it’s clutch using CBI against him looking at the excitement of the Gujarat’s youth in AAP’s promise.
