Jimmy Garoppolo is seemingly off the NFL trade market — for now — thanks to the San Francisco 49ers restructuring his contract for this season.
It’s big news for the Niners — do they trust Trey Lance this year or not? Will Jimmy G leave next summer? — but it’s huge news for Rita Carvalho.
She’s the woman on Twitter (@RitaOak_Art) who vowed to draw Garoppolo every day until he was traded this offseason.
She was up to 208 drawings of Garoppolo in all kinds of situations — as celebrities, in famous photos, starring in familiar movie scenes and album covers, and so on — when this news broke.
