Arthur Melo breaks silence on Liverpool exit with emotional message to fans

Arthur Melo has expressed his 'eternal gratitude' to Liverpool after he left the club following the end of his loan spell from Juventus.

The Brazilian is now will now return to the Serie A outfit, with his current contract running until 2025.

Jurgen Klopp brought Arthur to Anfield on deadline day last summer, but the move failed to workout with the Brazilian only featuring for 13 minutes during a 4-1 loss away at Napoli in the Champions League.

Taking to social media last night, Arthur posted: "As my contract with Liverpool comes to an end, I would like to thank everyone (coaches, players and staff) for all their support over the last season.

"I want you to know that I will have an eternal gratitude to the club. The fans are undoubtedly one of the most incredible around the world. The emotion of a game at Anfield is really impressive.

"Finally, I would like to thank the entire community of Liverpool and the region for welcoming my family over the last few months. I will always have beautiful memories of the days I lived here. Good luck for the future!"
