Arsenal's Hale End academy has been the envy of many clubs for years, but the recent trust placed back in the production of youth talent has seen it hit new heights. Plenty of youngsters have since gone on to become first-team superstars, with Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nkeitah being just three to mention.
While they are established in the squad now, the next generation of superstars isn't too far behind as the Gunners prepare for their next influx of stars. Youngster Charlie Patino is one of those, spending time on loan with Championship side Blackpool, while Folarin Balogun is another currently with French side Reims for the season.
The latter has certainly captured the headlines in the course of the past few months, with his 15 goals in 25 Ligue 1 appearances so far. It has helped Reims go on an unbeaten streak that is one of the best in Europe and has brought about plenty of notoriety for manager Will Still.

After an impressive February, Balogun has been nominated for the league's "Player of the Month" award as one of three options that can be voted for. Alongside him are PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo, with Arsenal fans hopeful their on-loan star can win the prize.
While there's a few games remaining for Balogun with Reims, it remains to be seen exactly what is next for him on his journey when returning to Arsenal. That may have been hinted at already though in an interview with L'Equipe earlier this season: "Arsenal is my family. For me, the club represents brotherhood and unity.
“I think by the time I go back I’ll be in a better place to compete than I was before I left. I realised there were certain things I would struggle with, but I think that’s a good thing.”
