Ben White is only fit enough to return to the bench for Arsenal’s crunch meeting with Tottenham tonight, although Bukayo Saka is fit to start.
England centre-back White missed the wins over West Ham and Leeds with a hamstring issue, while Saka was substituted against the latter on Sunday after suffering a knock.
Both were in a race against time to be fit for a crunch meeting with rivals Spurs in the race for Champions League qualification.
“Thomas [Partey] is still out, Kieran [Tierney] is still out and with Ben he is still a doubt, we have to assess him and see how he is feeling, which is much better,” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta told reporters on Wednesday. “With Bukayo, it’s the same.

The Gunners did the same against Chelsea last month, when they matched their opponents’ system perfectly en route to a memorable 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge.
