Arsenal XI vs Sevilla: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Emirates Cup game today

Arsenal host Sevilla in the Emirates Cup today as they play their final pre-season fixture before the serious stuff gets underway next week.

Mikel Arteta’s side have appeared in good shape throughout the summer, though lost their unbeaten record in a behind-closed-doors clash with Brentford in midweek.

Clearly, it’s difficult to put too much emphasis on non-competitive fixtures, although few would doubt the 4-0 destruction of Chelsea was exciting for a group of supporters who have seen their club spend big once again this summer.

All of Kieran Tierney, Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu have been involved in training since the squad returned to London from their impressive United States tour, though none of that trio make the squad today. Fabio Vieira is also still absent with a foot problem.

However, Gabriel Jesus is deemed fit to start after being substituted with a knock during the drubbing of Chelsea in Orlando. He plays at the Emirates for the first time alongside fellow new recuit Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Arsenal starting XI: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Jesus
