Arsenal’s starting lineup for tonight’s Champions League clash at home to Monaco has been confirmed and Myles Lewis-Skelly makes his full debut in the competition.
The Gunners were rocked by the news of four defensive players missing training on Tuesday but Thomas Partey is fit enough to start whilst Jurrien Timber drops down to the substitutes bench.

This does mean that Gabriel, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori remain sidelined as Mikel Arteta’s hope of a triple injury boost did not materialise.
“We have to manage a lot of the players,” he told reporters. “Some of them are probably not going to be fit tomorrow, some of them are still doubts. We still have 24 hours to make those decisions and hopefully they’re the right ones.”
Jakub Kiwior and William Saliba are both fit so can keep their partnership in the heart of defence, with Lewis-Skelly getting the nod over Kieran Tierney at left-back.
The Scotland international is once again on the bench and could make his first appearance for Arsenal since August 2023, when he came off the bench in the Community Shield against Manchester City.
In total, Arteta has made four changes to the side that started the 1-1 draw against Fulham as Mikel Merino, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus start in place of Jorginho, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard.
Ayden Heaven, an 18-year-old centre-back, is on the bench.
Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Partey, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Rice, Merino; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
